Homelessness Prevention & Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP)
HPRP Goals
HPRP is focused on housing for homeless and at risk households. it provides temporary financial assistance and housing relocation and stabilization services to individuals and families who are homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance.
Our program is intended to target two populations of persons facing housing stability:
1) individuals and families who are currently in housing but are at risk of becoming homeless
2) Individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness (residing in an emergency shelter or transitional shelters or on the street) and need temporary assistance in order to obtain housing and retain it.

Note: HPRP is not a mortgage assistance program
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is limited to the following activities:
- Rental Assistance
- Security Deposits
- Utility Deposits
- Utility Payments
- Moving cost assistance
- Hotel and Motel Vouchers
Housing Relocation and Stabilization Services
- Case Management
- Outreach and engagement
- Housing search and placement
Requirement For Assistance
- Valid photo identification & social security numbers for all adults in the household. must be legal residents.
- Birth certificates & social security cards for all children in the household
- Proof of all income, including child support, unemployment compensation, and wages are required. Must be 50% below Area Median Income guidelines.
- If receiving Food Stamps, Disability, TANF, SSI, or other cash benefit assistance, a benefit letter will be required
- Proof of need: Eviction notice, or a letter certifying homelessness, Etc.
